What should I do if I received a damaged/defective product?

    I received a broken candle, took pictures, sent a request to send another one, then spoke to a customer service personm and still months later no candle and no refund. At this point please refund my card.

    I received a damaged item; took pictures, sent request for return process to receive refund, spoke to customer service person, routinely email customer service as a reminder and no contact from Pier 1.  I have been pursuing this for 21 days.....

    CUSTOMER SERVICE is non existent. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I cannot get any answers regarding an outdoor furniture set. I received a few parts of a 4 piece set. No idea what the parts are for or how to assemble...Nobody to speak with, terrible email correspondence. I have sent photos, emails etc. Spent over $1500. THEY ARE A SHAM, RIP OFF...Im a FURIOUS

    Based on these comments, I am not alone. I bought the White Deer with Champagne Scarf Set Set of 2 on 10/21/22 and one of the deer's head was completely snapped off.  I've contacted Pier One via email 5 times and the replies say the same thing "We're sorry your order 1116721 is delayed" which is not even relevant to my issue as there were other items in that order that were fine. They used to be my favorite store but I will NEVER EVER buy from Pier One again.  I've spent thousands there in the past, but no more.  They are a sham!

    WHAT IS WRONG WITH PIER 1 NOW! I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN AFTER TODAY! I ORDERED 2 SETS OF BOWLS. ONE SET I NEVER RECEIVED, ONE SET ARRIVED COMPLETELY BROKEN BECAUSE THEY PACKAGED THEM IN A BOX WITH NO PADDING. JUST 2 BOWLS IN A BOX. AFTER OPENING THE BOX I CUT MY FINGER ON ONE OF THE BROKEN BOWLS. I CALLED THE NUMBER FOR THE OLD PIER 1 WHICH DIRECTED ME VISIT THE SITE, THEN JUST HUNG THE PHONE UP. I HAD THE PHONE NUMBER BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR A VERY LONG TIME, BUT I HAD NOT ACTUALLY ORDERED ANYTHING SINCE THEY CHANGED OWNERSHIP. I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THEM A TRY. I WISH THAT I HAD NOT. I ALSO WISH THAT I HAD READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE I PLACED AN ORDER. THAT WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME AN INSITE TO ALL THE PROBLEMS I WOULD BE HAVING WITH THE ORDER. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL STATING THAT THEY WERE BEHIND AND THAT THEY WOULD GET IN TOUCH WITH ME WHEN THEY CAN. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! NOW I HAVE A CUT FINGER AND NO BOWLS AND I HAVE TO WAIT TO BE ASSISTED!

    I filed an Attorney General Complaint and also notified my bank of Pier 1s fraudulent behavior.  Pier 1 refunded my money 3 days later. If you need to file a complaint with the FL Attorney general, here is the web address:
